Literaire Bakens Nijmegen is a literary organization that places 'beacons' around town with poetry from famous writers related to the location. The site shows an overview of all the beacons with a description, the name of the beacon, the author, the text of the poem and the location on a map and a gallery of photo's below.
The site was built with solely Joomla 5 and a template. The goal was to create a site that would use core Joomla as much as possible, without adding extensions. In the end the the site only uses Yootheme as a template, with the built in functionality of maps and galleries.
Custom fields were used for the author, de location coordinates, location name and a repeatable field with the references to the images and titles for the gallery.
